A Compact EDC Powerhouse Bridging the gap between Microtech's legendary full-sized tactical OTFs and ultra-compact pocket autos, the Hera II Mini proves that exceptional performance doesn't require a massive footprint. This shrunk-down version of the acclaimed Hera II retains all the premium styling and engineering of its larger sibling but is scaled perfectly for discreet everyday carry.
The blade features Microtech’s proprietary Bohler M390MK super steel, ground into a highly utilitarian single-edge (S/E) profile. This specific model features a distressed Apocalyptic finish to hide everyday wear, paired with a partially serrated edge that effortlessly rips through tough, fibrous materials like rope, webbing, and cardboard. At the heart of the Hera II Mini is Microtech's ultra-smooth Dual Fuel Drivetrain, ensuring a remarkably effortless and reliable double-action deployment with the slide of a button.
The chassis is milled from lightweight yet incredibly durable aircraft-grade aluminum, anodized in a bold red finish and held together by standard Torx hardware for easier user maintenance. To top it off, the handle features a milled titanium pocket clip complete with a smooth ceramic ball, ensuring secure retention without shredding your pocket seams.
MacMow Tactical's Take When you need an automatic knife that punches way above its weight class without taking up your entire pocket, the Hera II Mini is the answer. It’s small enough to carry in athletic shorts or dress slacks, yet the firing mechanism is just as snappy and authoritative as Microtech's full-sized duty knives. The Apocalyptic finish combined with the partial serration makes this a fantastic "user" knife—it's meant to be put to work, and it looks even better as it breaks in.
